"Declan." This is a commissioned piece depicting one of the client's guinea pigs, Declan, in a post-apocalyptic setting. Some 3D modeling in Blender and Daz Studio, a little design work in Illustrator, and a million hours in Photoshop (or so it felt). Declan himself is hand-painted using photos of the real Declan for reference along with photos of both modern and WWII equipment. I'm pleased to report that the client was pretty psyched by the outcome.

Initial sketch that got approved by the client. You can see in this early draft the blunderbuss kind of gun as well as airships over the valley. Obviously I ditched the airships in favor of the moonrise over the abandoned base.
