This series of 3d models by Jura McKay will form part of the incoming Not Again (.exe) exhibition in Edinburgh. The models were created in Autodesk Maya and will be brought forward for 3D Printing. They are the three dimensional imaginings of some of the icons used in the Win95 operating system.
The purpose of these objects is bring to life in a tangible form the past technologies many people remember fondly from their earlier years. Hoping these objects will provide a source of sentimental value to the beholder and serve as a reminder of the technological aesthetics of the past.
