This was my first experience with 2d animation using After Effects - a personal project which is the result of my internship at N9ve.
I intended to create a spec Marlboro ad (there weren't many recent references, so it would be a challenge). I tried not to rely too much on the Marlboro Man campaign atmosphere, and so my main sources of inspiration were the poems "Opiário" and "Tabacaria", both from Álvaro de Campos.
The concept revolves around an inner trip that takes place when a man is watching the smoke taking form from its cigarette. It's about going to some remote exotic place without really leaving. It's about going to where the flavor is.
