This year I taught a 9-week intro motion graphics design class to aspiring Art Directors at Miami Ad School New York. For each class I created a short animation based on the topic for that week's class with different art direction. This is a quick shot of animations, usually done the day before or day of the class. It's also an intro animation, itself, for the final full class meeting.
Learned a lot myself especially about teaching. It was quite enjoyable and challenging trying to efficiently get them comfortable enough in the software that they wouldn't get as stuck on the technical stuff. As part of doing each of these intros I also made the collected AEPs available to the class which allowed them to dig in and, hopefully, gain a better understanding of the software and how to create projects.
