As part of a motion design class, we were required to create a series of design pieces for either a real or fictional stage music production.
I designed a stage with a projection screen in the back and two sets of riser as well as a full complement of traditional theater lighting techniques. The band I designed for was the fictional Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
The first four images represent transitions that would occur during one song and would rely on things like floor lights, par cans, fog machines, and glitter cannons.
The second song I designed for was a more subdued, primarily acoustic ballad.
Additional songs I considered relied on spots, white washes, and gobos for their effects.
