Heidi Shaulis Art Studio is a folk-art and painting studio based in Woodstock, NY. Heidi’s paintings focus on anthropomorphic nature and the dialogue between human and animals. She works in a self-taught style of glazed oil paintings and jewel tones, developed over her decades long career as an artist.
For this client, we focused on the use of vibrant and luminous colors similar to the ones used in her paintings. We took inspiration from stained glass and oil paints themselves to create a pattern that could be recognizable and used throughout the brand. Since her art is sold internationally, we took a strong focus on developing stationary that would convey her whimsical art style to all who purchased or interacted with her work.
A large number of the images here are photographs of real-world print designs rather than digitally rendered mockups.
