Islamic folklore tells the story about a cat that saved Mahommet from a dangerous snake. In an other story, the prophete find a sleeping cat on his jacket. Instead of wake him up, he prefers to cut the piece of the jacket when the creature is sleeping.

Gods of Turkey, waiting for people to feed and pet them, lovable in any case, cats haunts Turkey.
