This project guided by Philips asked for new ways to integrate the advantages of OLED over conventional lighting (LED, lightbulb, etc.) in a new or untested way. The following design shows the result of this project:

 

Noctua/Omni is a headlamp designed for the use in caves and environments demanding ideal lighting in close proximity as well as long distances. The combination of OLED and LED offers optimal, non-glaring lighting at arm’s length and strong, clear visibility for distances up to 200 meters.
