The mayoralty is going to increase the total length of tracks for cyclists almost to total 73 kilometers in the coming years.
We compared the length of bicycle paths in Moscow and major cities of the world - and concluded that this is still only a decorative initiative.

Chasing the world
Trying to create a real european city from Moscow, the capital mayoralty finally launched the bikeways project. Still, only 6 kilometers of the bikeways are available. In 4 years their length will grow 12 times bigger. That will allow to be in advance with Riga, but not with the other megacities.
