Direct Me was an Idea I had when Bangalore commisioned the construction of its Metro Train System (christened "Namma Metro", translates to "Our Metro").
It is inevitable that there will be maps that guide people from one Metro Station to the other. But my primary focus has been on two things-
1) To highlight the history associated with each area - there are a lot of stories to each nook and cranny of the city and I wanted to create a system which curates these stories as trivia associated with each station. Hence the Trivia.
2) To create an environment where the User is available of the conditions at the Areas- Hence Twitter Integration and a dashboard that updates the status of each Metro Station.
For further implementations-
1) I want to ensure that the User is able to search via area/locality as opposed to a station- This is because a people generally remember areas than the location of a metro station.
2) The Service is responsive.
