The design of the wooden greeting card was outlined with the Dhow in mind, as it is a valuable part of the Qatari culture. To create the card’s cover, we have used the elements of the Dhow, including wood and rope. In order to convey this idea to the receiver, we have included a poetic explanation about the inspiration behind the design.

 

 

In order to highlight the importance of Qatari traditions, and to reflect the pride we take in our heritage, we focused on the Dhow, one of Qatar’s symbols, and used it as the main element in the design.

 

The calligraphic line (قطر، نشيلج في عيوننا) (Cherish Qatar) is shaped like a Dhow, also to show the emotional link that ties us to the country.
