Bicycle rides require a full mental and physical attention. On longer rides, they can become spiritual journeys. Brain and heart is being flooded with energy, and nature is speeding past you faster than usual. At the same time, a sense of peace and balance is growing stronger, because of the awareness of everything around you. Letting everything be, not desiring for anything to be different. In those moments, I’ve see colorful visions, painted on the road, erased, with new ones emerging, as long as I was letting them be. More than a few of them have ended up being part of my ink artworks.
