The Barnacle Lamp is made from a module drawn in Adobe Illustrator and laser cut in semi-translucent polypropylene. An interior filament structure was cut from acrylic to hold the electrical components. The organic, asymmetrical form creates visual movement around the lamp’s three-dimensional surface pattern. The packaging solution mimics the geometry and irregularity of the lamp to communicate what it's contents would bring into a space.
