One of the projects for Typography 1 course consisted of research on a noted typographer and their typographical achievements in order to prepare a written presentation, which would then be complied into a magazine with the rest of the class and their work.

I chose to write about David Carson, as per the assignment brief, the first step was to study his techniques, how he uses typography and grid systems. I wrote about my observations to explain visual attributes and nuances of David Carson's approach to typography. In order to por tray his aesthetics, I chose to use pages of his books as backgrounds, and tried to make my report blend in with his work without over shadowing them.
