This is a typography group project about Kabel, a German typeface. I worked together with my team mate, Evelyn Chong, and we came up with the idea of making a hand-binded book to promote it. Some of the pages in the book are blank, so as to allow people to take notes or sketch/doodle inside. The rest of the pages (mainly the ones with the bold solid colours) are printed with bite sized facts about the history and characteristics of Kabel. The book cover and pages are cut in 8 degrees to reflect the unique angles that certain letters of the typeface were designed in. The pages were stitched and glued together by hand, as can be seen in the open spine.
