Finite Element Analysis using the structural properties as supplied by the 3D priting material manufacturer. Goal was to compare the two different buttons array effects on the central structure when the brazalet is slightly opened to be inserted on the wrist. The one in the left was chosen due to the less weakening effect. 3D printed case is made on UV cured acrylic polymer.
Electronics and metallic back of the original watch reverse engineered
Finite Element Model was run to ensure buttons movement and opening of the brazalet can withstand the bending induced stresses on the material.
