The idea: To show the impact and the importance of the Volkswagen brand in the modern advertising industry throughout it's history.

Bill Bernbach, the man who created the first award winning ad for Volkswagen, was not conceived in a Beetle, but many that followed him were. The parents of these advertisers did not think small and raised brilliant boys and girls that were inspired by Volkswagen to win gold, silver and bronze in advertising festivals around the world. Volkswagen is the advertiser of the year 2012 in Eurobest thanks not only to the inspiration of these parents as to the love, witch is also a big brand as we know it."

The idea: To make the people feel more integrated in the advertising world as Volkswagen has been for many years.
A real size ad with a real Beetle was created. People could writhe their own headlines and project them on the ad. All ads where printed and shared through VW's facebook page.

The digital media ads challenged people to make a creative ad for Volkswagen and upload it. The best ones won tickets for the Eurobest festival.
This competition was restricted to people outside the advertising world.
