[SPARE NYC] Motion Graphics (Fall 2014–Winter 2015)

I had the honor of being hired as a freelancer for the pro-social startup, SPARE NYC. For their official debut at LaunchPad360º in November 2014, they had to prepare a 5-6 minute presentation. The founder, Andra Tomsa, wanted SPARE to steal the show with stylish and slick animation, to show they were more than ready to make an impact and play with the big kids.

Over the course of October 2014, I storyboarded, animated, and then edited what has been the biggest project I had ever done.

SPARE identity by Marcus Mills; SPARE icon library by Laura Forero; script by Andra Tomsa and Phil Caban.
One of the most rewarding challenges of this project was finding a solution for succintly and clearly presenting SPARE's intended payment method.
New Year's message from SPARE.
