Admittedly, much of the inspiration for this project comes from Zoran Lucic's amazing Sucker For Soccer series. I found his use of classic typography, color design and layers of distress to be completely awe-inspiring, all wrapped under the guise of romanticizing Europe's greatest football players. Hopefully he will forgive me if my own designs borrow too liberally.
