All images in this post were made to support A-Level Students with layered images and show how numbers of black and white shots could be layered together to create surreal landscapes. There are some amazing artists out there who do this.  Jim Kazanjian creates stunning landscapes using photoshop to merge many layers of different elements of landscapes together. The daddy of surreal landscapes is Jerry Uelsmann- he merges landscapes together using spliced negatives and clever positioning /combining of multiple exposures of differing images using dark room processes
