The Crescent Mirror was my submission for an academic project sponsored by the housewares company, Umbra. The frame of the mirror is a round, lofted shape which seamlessly integrates a catch-all shelf for your small on-the-go items, making this design useful for entryways of homes and dorms. The frame design would theoretically be manufactured as a vacuum-formed piece with the mirror fixed to an inside rim. My prototype was sculpted from foam and finished with spackle.
