Hope in God is a side project started to help raise money for my move to Japan. It focuses around scripture that helps encourage us and show us that we have a God that we can, and should place our hope in. All prints are designed and printed by myself.
The writer of this psalm, shows us there are times where the Christian's heart can be in dismay. In the midst of his confusion and suffering, redirects his weakened and confused heart to hope in God, knowing that his current state won't last forever.
David gains confidence in the midst of trying circumstances when he remembers that our God is One who turns His ear to our voices when we direct our prayers towards Him.
A reminder that there may be times for Christians where we feel depressed and that God is far from us, but to know that our God hears us, and to have faith that He will bring us through our situation.
Jesus calls us to come to him and find our rest, for his "yoke is easy" and his "burden is light."
Trusting God can take a special kind of humility. Sometimes it takes us admitting our weakness and incompleteness and giving our hearts in the hands of the God who loves us and knows what's best for us.
A reminder for us to humble ourselves when we approach God and that His ways are greater than our ways.
A reminder that God listens attentively to us and when we are distressed to call on Him.
