The National Institute of Design, India, hosted the annual Design History Society Conference in 2013. This postcard was meant to welcome the delegates — many of whom were not Indian — to India.
I drew inspiration from the traditional form of greeting in India – 'Namaste' or folded hands – and from the circular motifs found in the architecture and textiles of the country.
