Reflection:
The day I was assigned this assignment I went home after school and watched an episode of Regular Show, a TV show on cartoon network. The episode had a caveman and it just came to me that I had to make a cave man. At first I didn’t know what it would look like so I searched many pictures of cartoon cavemen and found torn looking clothing with straight faces. So that is what I kind of based my caveman off the internet. Then I thought that cavemen always tried to look tough so I gave my caveman a huge wooden stick. I couldn’t do this without this technology. I used an element of line for depth. And I used shape for shading. i put a gradient on  the arms and legs to show value, qnd movement.
If it weren’t for that TV show I watched I probably wouldn’t have made a caveman cartoon. I would probably have to base it off of things or creature I saw outside. And in order to make a creature look scary I’d have to exaggerate some of its details. To me it would be pretty difficult because I would have nothing to base it off of.
This technology helps me understated the way illustrator works and functions it also helps me understand how other artists think and work with this type of program used to help express their imagination and creativity. The way they express their creativity also helps me create my creativity.
