I love the simplicity and uncluttered look of monochrome without the distractions of colour the photograph draws the viewer in to recognize the character and individuality of the subject. I generally don’t produce that many monochrome photographs but as my trip across Asia is drawing to an end I have been reminiscing on my amazing journey by looking through my catalogue of photographs. There were many great ones that I didn’t use either because the subject was already in the project or they simply did not have the right feel. So not wanting to leave them hidden away on a hard drive somewhere I turned my favourites into some gorgeous monochromes.
