This is a promotional piece for Comcast SportsNet Bay Area for their nightly sports news program, Comcast SportsNet Central. This was my project while working as an intern at Comcast. It ran on-air for a few weeks on CSN-BA.
The anchors were shot on the green screen at Expression College in Emeryville where I was a Production Assistant and Sound Mixer.
These shots were still images that had the subjects cut out and reconstructed with pieces from other images. The backgrounds behind the subjects were then reconstructed from pieces from the rest of the background. I used Photoshop for this process.
These assets were placed in Z space in After Effects and given a sense of motion with camera moves and the puppet tool. Particular was also used to help with the compositing and also adding dirt/ice particles to the scenes to help sell that they were slow motion shots rather than moving stills.
