The initial concept for D'Master Bakery & Resto was to attract mall guests and nearby residents in South Kalimantan with cleanliness and hygienic look of the interior. It is then designed to feel light and bright by applying full-tempered glass at the front of the restaurant that faces the main street. The daylight is expected to bring natural illumination to the interior lighting as well as to reduce the electricity cost of the bulbs. Porcelain white color is then picked to cover the major elements of the restaurant- to paint walls, ceiling, and to get chosen for the dining furniture color selection.
Shades of natural materials such as wooden panels for table tops and chairs, grass carpets for decorative ceiling with support of artificial plants displayed in some areas, are applied to visualize the contemporary and fresh ambience inside the restaurant. To maintain the intergrity of the brand D'Master bakery itself, the restaurant is accentuated with purple on some of its interior elements such as doors, walls, cushion, and signage, as it is the original color of the brand.
