Punctuality in the Year 20XX

Punctuality in the Year 20XX
Group Exhibition | June 2015 | Imagebox
Making its debut as my first exhibited sculpture, Punctuality in the Year 20XX was shown in Eastern Standard: A Time Exhibition. Curated by Joe Mruk, the exhibition featured fourteen Pittsburgh artists who were asked to create a clock. Whether it was in the literal or metaphorical sense, time was the unifying theme.

With its toy-like charm and futuristic notion of robots, Punctuality in the Year 20XX explores the fluctuating perception of time associated with childhood memories and ideas of the future. The wooden sculpture is 18" x 30" and with painted with acrylic and latex-based house paint.
