In October 2014 I started volunteering my graphic design skills to Heartbeat, an organization that unites Israeli and Palestinian youth musicians to build critical understanding, develop creative nonviolent tools for social change, and amplify their voices to influence the world around them. I've been helping them out with various graphic needs, mostly creating content for their social media presence and some collateral materials. They are a wonderful community of warm, loving, talented, bright people and I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to contribute in any way and be a small part of it. My biggest joy is in being able to visualize and amplify the young musician's own voices and views through media, which they have told me is an empowering experience in itself. I match graphics to the content the musicians provide and to the message they are trying to convey. Here are a few examples of the work I do with them.
