Exhibition: Dead, Alive and the Other.
CZKD (Center for Cultural decontamination) is celebrating its 20 YEAR anniversary. In the light of that anniversary they decided to make an EXHIBITION: LIVING, DEAD and the OTHER. to celebrate the authors and names who went through the CZKD in the last 20 years and left their mark on the space. The task was how to visually represent these several thousand names in space and to make a identity of them all. The logotype 20 years is constructed from the several thousand of names and is featured on the exhibition as is on the poster for the exhibition.

EXHIBITION
The exhibition “The Living, the Dead and the Other” is made up of the names of the thousands of people who answered that call or the calls that came later, or who will answer new ones. It deliberately intervenes in the memorial tradition, expanding the concept of commemoration. Signing the register is both a collective and individual act of authorship .
The names are displayed of four huge C Z K D letters that are constructed inside the pavilion to display the several thousand names of the authors that went through the CZKD in the last 20 YEARS. The names form the letters the letters form the exhibition.
This is a presentation of the setting up of the exhibition. An unique form of cubes and slates is used to construct the structural form of the letters which are held together by a whiteboard. The video shows in stop-motion the setting up of the exhibition.
BOOK
The Book for the 20 YEARS of CZKD features all the names in the exhibition. The cover of the book is stamp-made and every cover is separately numbered so each book is unique. The list of names is mapped so that each name is presented in the book on what letter in space is it begin displayed.
POSTER
This is the two folded poster for the exhibition wich is featured inside the book and it can be ripped from the book to be used as a poster. The exhibition and the project explication is on the back side of the poster.
VIDEO
WEB PAGE / ONLINE ARCHIVE
The web page / online archive is displayed on the exhibition. Its is a web page dedicated to continue to collect the names and people that are a part of the CZKD and the authors that will leave their mark in the future. The web page www20czkd.org is an alive online archive that is being filled with authors.
