Receiving a diabetes diagnosis is a distressing, stressful, and difficult time. The materials sent to new diabetics by the American Diabetes Association are helpful, but can be overwhelming in the diversity of information, applicability to the recently diagnosed, and the disorganization of style, visuals, and types of materials. This brochure sought ot consolidate the most important information into a single brochure, one which better communicates the ADA's message of hopefulness, treatment, and continued quality of life.
