This project is rather focusing on geometric shapes andarchitecture form of a fabrication lab, meeting the requirements of the boundary constraints of program spaces. There are three components to be integrated in this lab - a space for designing, a space for fabricating and lastly, a space for exhibition. 

 

The concept of my project is centered upon the user experience, as he or she steps out from an enclosed space, into a small courtyard, before entering another enclosed space. In this way, the user is exposed to the nature elements and is not only confined to the interior of a fabrication lab. There is a definition in exterior and interior space in the design of the fabrication lab that surrounds a courtyard that serves as a place for the sharing of ideas, etc.
