20.001 : Architecture Core Studio 1 Project 1
Introduces students to program and circulation as a way of ordering spaces.
The first project asks for the design of a building to be located in a narrow space between two existing structures of the Singapore University of Technology and Design ( SUTD ) Campus that are currently joined by three pedestrian bridges on different levels.
Programmatically the exercise is to design a new intertwining space capable of functioning as a circulation core for the two existing blocks as well as to introduce complementary uses that meets with future students and staff needs.
