THE Festival Sonic Boom: NYE with Infected Mushroom in Kolkata,India
Infected Mushroom is one of the biggest psytrance/electronica/psychedelic group in the world and a good production was of paramount importance. Each LED panel was 1.64 feet x 3.28 feet and 80 pixels x 160 pixels.
CONTENT:
Once the LED design was finalized, it was time to come up with some design templates for the LED content.
One of the main concepts was pixel mapping each LED panel and come up with some sort of generative content that could be played.
So, inside Cinema 4D using a cube primitive of width 1.64 feet and height 3.28 feet , some patterns were rendered at multiples of 80x160 resolution.

Once these were done, it was time to pixel map them inside After Effects. The logical connection of the LED design inside After Effects looked like this :-
