Community Center in San Bernardino

The concept of this community center is the connection of the city with nature, represented of the guardian of the valley of Caracas, the national park: Ávila. So, this two volumes are placed to framed the view of the pedestrian to this green giant.
The location: the urbanization of San Bernardino, were the non planned city meets with the grid of the colonial dowtown of Caracas. Also a green line that follows a drift from the Ávila meets in this depressed zone of the capital. This is the social importance of this project. 
A pending scuplture's square receives the pedestrians.
It can be seen the spacial connection between the two volumes.
The vertical volume seen from northeast. This volume its reserve for a community library on the two last levels and in the under the street level garden, an administration and six board rooms, three of them integrable for meetings or trainings (or whatever the community wants) and the services and circulation on the attached volume.
