John’s Bank Barn
Brief
John is an active 61 year old retiree, who is looking into transforming his Brandywine bank barn into a new residence and an office for his new business: custom travel planning. The barn is in a rural setting, with gently rolling hills of meadows and forest near the Pennsylvania/Delaware border.
Concept
According to the brief and a thorough analysis of John’s life, work and daily routine, The concept of Travel was chosen for this project. Taking his old job as a museum director as well as his new business into consideration, it is clear that John is an admirer of the art and culture around the world, so bringing that into this project is of essence.
