Merry Whatever-Doesn't-Offend-You!

 

This was my first real screen printing project. Major props to Allison and Craig of strawberryluna for their help with the technicalities of screen printing. This project was super fun! And the paper is also soft and shimmery and wonderful. Very appropo for a snowy bright Christmas. I also enjoyed drawing the letterforms. Letters rock! The whimsical serifs seemed fitting for such a jolly occasion.

Detail shot above. It's so nice to print something by hand, even if that means some small errors here or their. Although frustrating, it can also be somewhat charming.
