Essie Nail Polish magazine advertisements. With these ads, I wanted to focus on the playful nail polish names that Essie is famous for. I decided to advertise for Ballet Slippers an Licorice.
The Ballet Slippers color is a very light color, therefore I wanted the direction to have a softness to it.
The Licorice color is very dark, therefore the direction was to have a hard, edgyness to it.
