Kinetic Typography: Cerulean / The Devil Wears Prada

As an assignment for a motion design course, I was asked to make a kinetic typography sequence using a short monologue of my choice. I had recently watched The Devil Wears Prada when I received the assignment, and immediately thought of the infamous "cerulean" lecture that Meryl Streep's character gives Anne Hathaway. I pictured a Bodoni-like typeface with clear and decisive movements. I wanted to make it feel as if you were getting lectured from the typography itself.
