This project was done for my advertising design class. We were tasked with picking a not-for-profit or charity organization and creating an ad campaign and/or collateral to bring attention to the cause. Save America's Treasures is a branch of the National Trust For Historic Preservation, of which I am a member. At the time, most of the treasures they were working to save were monuments or places. Louis Armstrong's personal archives were an exception, and I saw an opportunity to reach more people with the message by relying on an emotional attachment people might have to his music and how it has affected their lives over time.
Below is the concept I chose as my final, with the other concepts after it. This concept was not the one my professor chose, but I felt the typography said, "Jazz." It's still one of my favorite pieces.
