My ideas come from everywhere. I mainly capture them in my BlackBerry & my notebooks (Moleskine, noneskine, I don't care.) I use the calendar & tasks functions in Microsoft Outlook 2010 a lot, so I use one task file as my backburner to dump all my action steps & reference stuff. I originally planned to review my backburner once a month, but since things move so fast, I review them every Friday, for half an hour tops. I then attach stuff to personal & work-related projects.
