J20 Competition Rebrand

The brief set by J20 was to create a packaging that would entice an older target market. They wanted a packaging that people would look at and want to take with them instead of drinking alcohol. The target market given was 25-35. I did a lot of research, looking into different styles of packaging, what the target market drinks and buys and also i looked into alcohol packaging. I wanted something very modern and i catching. I also wanted to show a blend of the two flavours.
So i looked into watercolour as that would be something to show blending well and then i also wanted to theme each flavour. I looked into the history of J20 and found out that it is a UK drink. So i looked into different UK subjects and came across forest animals, a way that i felt would look great would be to turn them into geometric shapes as this is a very in thing right now. I then worked out what animal would suit what flavour and put the watercolour to in but in the colours that matched the flavours.
The bottle packaging was made to flow with the four pack packaging. I used the same watercolour marks and also used the outlines of the geometric animal for that specific flavour so the theme continued thoughout the packaging.
