This september I was lucky to be invited by a couple of dear family friends to a houseboat trip in the north of Italy : the plan was to sail on the Sile and on the Old Brenta river, and to do that, obviously include a trip to Venice too.

 

The first afternoon we checked in the Caprice 597 of Le Boat around 4 pm and after a short briefing we went from Casale sul Sile to Casier (which is 5 minutes by car and 20 by boat).

 

We admired a beautiful sunset and a lot of birds. The morning after, the fog covered all the river and it was like being in the middle of a cloud, I could not see anything. So amazing! You can see the whole galleries here.

The first day, when we were charging our stuff into our "house", it started to rain...

After the short rain, the sun came out again.. We were now ready to sail!
