Example of Illustrator layout
(There was no brown background on the Illustrator file)
So the story goes like this, my brother who lives in Australia, is going to officially become a grown up this Christmas as he is going to become a daddy!
A few weeks I was trying to come up with an idea for a gift I could make for the baby and bunting is what popped into my head...
There was meant to be white accents on it also but as my brain wasn't functioning fully at the time I didn't consider printers don't have white ink! I first put together the images in illustrator, I had a large sheet of thick brown paper that I cut into A4 size to fit a regular home printer , did a test print on regular paper, adjusted the setting to get the right quality, then printed it out, I then had some thicker corrugated brown card that I glued the printed paper to then cut each letter out and made holes for the cord, then put all the letters on the cord and there you go!
It was a fun process that allowed me to use my computer skills along with my enjoyment for working with my hands! I thought I'd share an image of the finished bunting with the world!
