Drawings created just with a single continuous line.

 

 

In the 'Single Line Art' drawing series, my guiding principle is to create without lifting the pen, utilizing a solitary continuous line as the sole structural element of the artwork. This technique demands unwavering concentration and an unwavering focus on the subject at hand.

 

Upon first visiting the Beethoven Haus in Bonn, I closely inspected the L.v. Beethoven portrait by Joseph Karl Stieler (1820), where the composer’s strong personality is depicted with an intense, penetrating glance. I was immediately inspired, enough to try to achieve these characteristics with one continuous line.
