November, beautiful November, I feel the winter coming. And to celebrate November I did an illustration about November’s best celebration : The day of the dead or Dia de Muertos in spanish.
In this day people make altars and shrines for their deceased loved ones, decorate it with the food their loved ones liked, their favorite drinks, photos of them and others items. The tradition says that on Day of the Dead, the spirits of the ones deceased came back to earth to have a night with the living ones, they eat the food in their altars and drink the essence of their drinks, that’s why next day the food has lost it’s flavor.
