The works in this installation are printed wth a moire pattern produced by the interference of an unevenly spaced vertical lines.
This pattern is mirrored by the watering of the silk itself as the viewer moves around the objects causing the fabric to move and interact with the light. This aspect of movement is unfortunately mostly lost in photographs but is important to the overall experience of the work. Some indication of the watering of the silk can be seen in the detail shots below.
