Experimental Illustration

I'm wanting to do more illustration during my spare time. I've drawn since I was in a highchair, but now I'm finding myself drifting away from drawing. In order to preserve my skills and keep inspired at the same time, I'm putting forth an effort to create illustrations on a regular basis again. The following work was created with experimentation in mind. In order to get past creative blocks, build up our portfolio (in an area we do not frequently work in at a day job), and to stay sane in some cases, we must experiment and not be afraid to show playfulness in our work. In fact, many times when we experiment or give ourselves more creative freedom, we discover new things that we previously hadn't thought about.
