I met this man in Varanasi, India - one of the oldest cities in the world. It's steeped in ancient tradition, and is overwhelmed by grime and decay. He was hammering rocks on the side of a bustling street, and seemed to embody the spirit of the place. Badly weathered and impossibly resilient.
