El Reloj de la UCV

La Torre del Reloj de la UCV es un monumento tipo campanario que se localiza a un lado de la plaza del rectorado de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, se trata de una torre construida en el año 1952 por el arquitecto venezolano Carlos Raúl Villanueva, sus tres (3) bases simbolizan arte, arquitectura y academia. Como parte de la ciudad universitaria es patrimonio mundial de la humanidad desde el año 2000. Para la elaboración de este proyecto se tomó como inspiración el Reloj universitario, mediante sus formas geométricas para los distintos mobiliarios, colores y su base formando el diseño de la habitación, como por ejemplo la representación de los doce (12) números se encuentra en las doce (12) repizas a los laterales de la cama y la forma de la lámpara de techo que se lleva a cabo por las tres (3) bases del reloj.

The Clock of the UCV

The Clock Tower of the UCV is a monument like a bell tower that is located on one side of the square of the rector of the Venezuelan Central University, it is a tower built in 1952 by the Venezuelan architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva, its three (3) based represent art, architecture and academic. As part of the university town is considered World of Humanity since 2000. For the construction of this project the design was inspired in the University Clock, though its geometric shapes for the different furniture, colors and its base forming the room design, such as the representation of the twelve (12) numbers can be seen in the twelve (12) side shelves of the bed and the shape of the ceiling lamp that is held by the three (3) clock basis.
